TYLER’s TALKS

The stooges are back! Larry, Curly and Moe make their triumphant return to the silver screen this week as “The Three Stooges” premiers on DVD and Blu-Ray Tuesday, July 17^th. This updated version of the familiar series stars a slew of big names including Will Sasso, Jane Lynch, Jennifer Hudson and even Snooki from Jersey Shore. The Three Stooges headline a week that features nine new releases in total.

NEW RELEASES ON DVD & BLU-RAY

The Three Stooges: starring Will Sasso, Jane Lynch and Jennifer Hudson – Larry, Curly and Moe set out to raise money for their orphanage. Along the way, they stumble into a murder-for-hire plot and become the stars of a reality TV show. (Comedy) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Silent House: starring Elizabeth Olsen – While trapped inside her family’s cottage, a young woman discovers that she is unable to contact the outside world as events become increasingly ominous in and around the house. (Horror) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Lockout: starring Guy Pearce – A man wrongly convicted of a crime against the U.S. government is offered his freedom if he can rescue the president’s daughter from an outer space prison that has become overtaken over by violent inmates. (Sci-Fi/Action) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Get the Gringo: starring Mel Gibson – A man is thrown into a Mexican prison where family and friends are allowed to come and go as they please. There, he befriends a boy and his mom and fights to defend them as a ruthless criminal conspires against them. (Action/Thriller) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Friends With Kids: starring Adam Scott, Kristin Wiig and Maya Rudolph – In order to avoid the toll that kids can take on a romantic relationship, two best friends decide to have a child together while keeping their relationship completely platonic. (Comedy/Romance) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Casa De Mi Padre: starring Will Ferrell – While trying to find a way to save their father’s ranch, the Alvarez brothers become entangled in a war with Mexico’s most feared drug lord. (Comedy) (DVD and Blu-Ray) (Subtitled)

I Kissed a Vampire: starring Lucas Grabeel– After being bitten by a foreign exchange student, a young man develops a thirst for blood and becomes romantically attracted to a goth rocker. (Musical) (DVD)

Midnight Son: A young man, who’s rare skin condition forces him to a life of isolation, becomes the prime suspect in a string of grisly murders. (Horror) (DVD)

On the Ice: In Barrow Alaska, two young friends find their relationship put to the test when a hunting trip turns tragic and results in the death of their friend. (Drama) (DVD)
