DAVIS HITS GRANDSLAM FOR CROSSOVER VIDEO BLUE JAYS

MARATHON, ON – Thursday July 19th, The 6pm game between the Kids and Outlaws was postponed. No makeup date was announced.

In the 7:30pm game, at Dyers’ Field, the bats went quiet and the pitchers took over in what was the lowest scoring game of the season so far. Mobert scored 5 runs in the 5th inning to edge out the Crossover Video Blue Jays by a score of 8-5. Tanya Desmoulin and Tristan Vollett each pitched admirably for their respective teams. Nathan Davis hit a Grand Slam for Crossover but it was not enough as they drop to 7-7 for the season. With the win, Mobert climbs back into 2nd place with a record of 11-4.
