MARATHON, ON – Mixed Slow-pitch action was intense at Dyers’ Field Tuesday July 24th as the Outlaws got a key 3 run Homerun from Ryan McKinnon in what turned out to be a close game against the Crossover Video Blue Jays. The Jays needed 4 runs in the 7th inning to force a tie however they came up short due to some slick pitching and fielding from Rico Verin. Tommy Starr hit 2 Homeruns in a losing cause as the Outlaws came out on the better half of the 22-18 score. The win is the Outlaws 3rd of the season as they improve to 3-11-1. The loss drops Crossover to 8-8.

Game 2 at Dyers’ Field July 24th, Mobert continued their strong play holding off a red-hot Barrick team by a narrow 15-14 score. Pat Bananish went deep for Mobert in what turned out to be the deciding run. With the win, Mobert improves to 12-4 while Barrick drops to 2-13-1.
