In October, Fred Eaglesmith will play his way back from Western Canada, reaching Northern Ontario in October, to play two new dates with the full band and opening performer Ms. Tiff Ginn from Texas. As part of this, Fred is announcing two new fall shows, one in Thunder Bay and the second, in
Wawa at the Cicada Lounge (Wawa Motor Inn)

Fred Eaglesmith has played extensively this year in Canada and these Fall shows are bound to have a number of road stories you have never heard before such as the recent border crossings, the bus break downs and transmission repairs by the band, Bill’s blues with his new bus, etc. Plus the best music you can get – all original. Some of it is Alternative folk or country, some of it is bluegrass, and some of it is rock and roll. Fred Eaglesmith is not easy to pigeon-hole as a musician. You could call it Americana or Roots music. It’s a full time, independent, traveling band, with superior musicality and great fan support across North America.
Fred’s music has been recorded by numerous artists, including Toby Keith (White Rose), Miranda Lambert (Time to Get a Gun), and Alan Jackson (Freight Train). But the best versions of Fred Eaglesmith songs you will ever hear are the live concerts by Fred Eaglesmith.
The band is looking forward to playing a full show in The Finlandia Hall in Thunder Bay and the Cicada Lounge in Wawa this fall, and hopes to see young and new fans come out to hear some great music and stories from the road. Every hall is a different show and the audience is what makes the show special.
