GERALDTON, ON – August 23^rd members of the Greenstone Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received numerous calls for service from residents of Geraldton advising that their motor vehicles had been broken into and items had been stolen from them. These thefts occurred in the late evening hours of August 22^nd or early morning hours of August 23^rd.

Investigation by members of the Greenstone OPP resulted in the arrest of a 14 year old male and 12 year old male from Geraldton. The two youth face 16 charges in relation:

• theft,
• mischief,
• trespass at night,
• possession of property obtained by crime,
• breaching court orders.

The Greenstone OPP would like to remind all members of the public to lock their vehicles at all times. In addition to this ensure not to leave expensive items or money in your vehicle.
