TYLER’s THANKSGIVING THOUGHTS

The staff at Crossover would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving! We hope that it is a day filled with family, friends and lots of turkey! There are twelve new releases this week and one is bound to be your Thanksgiving favourite! Let’s have a look at each title in detail;

NEW RELEASES ON DVD & BLU-RAY

Dark Shadows: starring Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer – An imprisoned vampire is set free after many years of imprisonment, and returns to his ancestral home where his dysfunctional descendants are in need of his protection. (Comedy/Fantasy) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

People Like Us: starring Chris Pine and Elizabeth Banks- While settling his recently deceased father’s estate, a man discovers he has a sister that he never knew about. After meeting, both siblings begin to re-examine their perceptions about family and life choices. (Drama) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Golden Winter: starring Haylie Duff and Shannon Elizabeth- A boy breaks into a house where he finds a group of abandoned puppies. It becomes the boy’s mission to find a better home for the puppies while they have a mission of their own. (Family) (DVD)

Werewolf The Beast Among Us: starring Ed Quinn – In a 19th century village, a young man studying with a local doctor joins a team of hunters on the trail of a wolf-like creature lurking in the woods. (Thriller/Horror) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

ATM: starring Josh Peck – On a late night visit to an ATM, three co-workers end up in a desperate fight for their lives when they become trapped by an unknown maniac. (Horror) (DVD)

Chained: A serial killer taxi driver abducts a young boy and, for several years, keeps him chained in his kitchen while attempting to train him to become his protégé. (Horror) (DVD)

Cowboys ‘N Angels: A young girl, passionate about riding, is recruited by a group of rodeo trick-riders to join their team. (Family/Drama) (DVD)

Episode 50: Two TV crews of paranormal researchers come together to film in a reputedly haunted location. When they encounter a powerful spirit, they must band together it destroys them all. (Horror) (DVD)

Fertile Ground: A couple decide to leave the city to move to the husband’s ancestral home in the country. Once there, the wife is plagued by horrifying visions and haunted by the ghosts inhabiting their isolated new home. (Horror) (DVD)

Five: starring Jennifer Anniston – Five short films banded together to explore the impact of breast cancer on people’s lives. (Drama) (DVD)

Grassroots: starring Jason Biggs – After losing his job, a journalist reluctantly agrees to help his oddball friend with his attempt to earn a seat on the Seattle City Council. (Comedy) (DVD)

Iron Sky: The Nazis set up a secret base on the moon in 1945 where they hide out and plan to return to power in 2018

Resident Evil 6 – A series of bioterrorist events face the players in this new game from the popular franchise featuring dramatic, frightening experiences which blend action and survival horror. Past character favorites Leon and Chris come together to face this unprecedented threat, while joined by a host new characters, each with their own unique perspective and involvement. Available for rent and sale for PS3 and Xbox 360.
