MANITOUWADGE, ON – The students and staff at Manitouwadge Public School looked like sleepyheads earlier this week as they came prepared for Student Council’s  “Pajama Day”.

Many at the elementary school took advantage of the theme day to attend school looking like they just ‘rolled out of bed”, skipping over getting dressed for the day!  It was humorous to walk into a classroom and see teachers, support staff and students decked out in there favourite pajamas.  Spiderman, superman, camouflage print and pretty princesses were plentiful, roaming the halls and on the playground.  One little Spiderman was seen reading himself a bedtime story (it may have actually been quiet time but at MPS it’s fun to pretend).

For teachers, staff and students who had always dreamt of just crawling out of bed and heading straight to school or work, MPS was the place to be and this no doubt ranked among their favourite days of the school year to date.  Great school spirit everyone!
