SCHREIBER, ON – November 21, 2012 at approximately 2:30 a.m. Schreiber Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a noise complaint at a business on Quebec Street, Schreiber, Ontario. Officers attended the scene and upon speaking to the male suspect, observed that property had been damaged. The male resisted arrest and after a brief confrontation with police was taken into custody.
The male, 27 year old Gregory Barry, of Schreiber, Ontario has been arrested and charged with:
- Mischief Under $5000,
- Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest,
- Assault a Peace Officer,
- two counts of Breach of Probation Order, contrary to the Criminal Code.
The male is currently in OPP custody and is to appear before the court in Thunder Bay on November 23, 2012 to answer to these charges.
