Have you ever wondered what life is like in the day of a police officer? What about a police officer in Los Angeles’s gang infested Newton neighborhood? Starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena, End of Watch takes us into the lives of two young police officers after having been transferred to the undesirable 13thdistrict in LA. With a turf war brewing, the officers find themselves caught in the middle of a situation that is more dangerous than they ever could have imagined. End of Watch: starring Jake Gyllenhall, Michael Pena and Anna Kendrick– The jobs of two police officers become a lot more dangerous when they are transferred to a gang-ridden Los Angeles neighborhood. After arresting a man following a routine traffic stop, things become more complicated than they ever could have imagined. Death Race 3: starring Luke Goss, Ving Rhames and Danny Trejo– A convicted killer becomes a superstar driver in a brutal prison yard demolition derby known as Death Race. For a Good Time Call: starring Ari Graynor– Former college classmates Lauren and Katie move into an upscale apartment, and in order to make ends meet, the pair start a phone sex line together. (Comedy) (DVD) Also available to rent at 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge!
Universal Solider Day of Reckoning: starring Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren– After losing his wife and daughter in a violent home invasion, a man seeks to avenge their death by waging war against the man responsible for their death. Abel’s Field: starring Kevin Sorbo– A young man is forced to care for his twin sisters after losing his mother and being abandoned by his father. Struggling to make ends meet, he is assigned to maintenance duties at his high school football field where he befriends the groundskeeper and strives to get his life back on track. (Drama) (DVD)
