CHAPLEAU, ON – Friday January 18, 2013 shortly before midnight the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Chapleau Detachment were advised of a single snowmobile rollover at the intersection of King Street and Maple Street. Investigation led to the arrest of 19-year-old Steve PARRON of Chapleau. The accused stands charged with the following offences;
- Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle
- Exceed 80 mgs Blood Alcohol Content
- Drive No Licence
The accused is scheduled to appear in Chapleau Court in February. The 1997 Ski-Doo Formula 3 was damaged in the rollover and the accused suffered minor injuries that were treated at the Chapleau Hospital.
