MARATHON ON – Saturday March 23, 2013 at approximately 11:15 am, officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Marathon detachment were dispatched to a 9-1-1 call to a residence in Marathon.
When officers attended the residence they were informed that there had been an altercation between two individuals earlier in the morning. Both parties were arrested and transported to the Marathon detachment so the investigation could be thoroughly completed.
Kevin ANDREWS, 45, of Marathon was charged with assault as a result of the investigation. He is scheduled to appear in court in Marathon on May 30, 2013.
Samantha KWISSIWA, 24, of Marathon was charged with breaching a court condition and failing to appear in court. She was remanded into custody.
