HORNEPAYNE, ON – March 1st hockey fans packed into the Hornepayne Arena to cheer on their favourite students and hockey stars from École Saint Nom de Jésus, Holy Name of Jesus School, Hornepayne Public School and Hornepayne Public High School.

Staff from the three schools took to the ice for some friendly competition, putting on a great show for students, family and friends from each of the schools who were in attendance for the game.  The spectators donated non-perishables for the local food bank to watch as the puck dropped and teachers/staff left it all on the ice for a great cause.  Bragging rights were claimed by Hornepayne Public School Staff as the final score was  5-3 for HPS/HPHS.
