NIPIGON, ON – Officers of the Schreiber Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating reports of break, enter, and thefts that occurred at Catlonite Road, Unincorporated Territory, north of Terrace Bay, Ontario.
Sometime between March 15 and March 17, 2013 an unknown subject forced their way into a trailer and stole various tools. The property owner observed that the trailer was damaged and items were missing late in the evening of March 17 and reported same to police.
A second property owner in the same area reported that sometime on March 14, 2013 an unknown subject entered a service trailer and stole numerous tools and accessories. The value of the stolen property is in excess of $10 000.
The area is well travelled and populated by logging operations. Officers continue to investigate these occurrences of theft.
