Live from the Rock 2013 Slogan Winner
RED ROCK, ON – In it’s 11th year the annual Live from the Rock folk festival held at Red Rock’s Pull-a-Log Park each August has many traditions, among them the choosing of a slogan via submissions to a free contest. After what the judges described as a “Very difficult voting process” the 2013 slogan winner was chosen.

To Erin Stewart from Thunder Bay, whose slogan
“FOREVER FOLK“
was chosen for 2013.
The LFTR slogan also serves as inspiration for the logo modifications which are unique each year, it appears in the programs, on posters and advertisements and other promotional materials as well as on other merchandise which is sold during the festival, just to name a few of the ways the slogan serves the festival and adds to it’s branding.
Each year submissions are received from far and wide, past winners have included:
- All You Need Is Folk
- Meet the Folkers
- A Folk in the Road Worth Taking
- Folk on the Water
- and others
In honour of the festival’s 10th Anniversary the 2012 program book had included all the slogan and program covers from the 9 previous years, no doubt many attendees of last year’s festival have kept it as a beautiful souvenir which could even become collectible memorabilia in the future!
