SCHREIBER, ON – Thursday, June 6th, the Holy Angels School Grade 1/2 class and Mrs. Roy visited the Schreiber Fire Department. Fire Chief, Pat Bourguignon, and firefighters, Dan Roy and Dan Bourguignon, taught the children about how the fire trucks operate and what to do in case of a fire. They even got to hold some of the equipment and try out the hoses!
The Grade 1/2’s were lucky enough to also learn about the job of a paramedic. The emergency medical team of Jan Morrison and Bonnie Brake, taught the children about their important role in the communities of Schreiber and Terrace Bay.
Thank you for a wonderful and educational afternoon. We are grateful to have such dedicated community helpers performing these important services.
