Launch of a New Regional Innovative Online Directory
TERRACE BAY, ON – Superior North CFDC is pleased to announce the re-launch of our online business directory, Superior North Spotlight! With the assistance of Forest Marketing and TBayIT, we’ve developed a fresh new name and look and some exciting new functions!
Superior North Spotlight is the most comprehensive online directory for Ontario’s North of Superior Region. The key benefit of Superior North Spotlight is its convenience – it’s a ‘one stop shop’, a single location on-line for the whole region, and the world, to get up-to-date information. With over 1100 listings that cover the entire Superior North CFDC region, from Dorion to Manitouwadge, this online directory gives a much needed web presence to businesses, municipalities, community organizations, events, things to do, attractions, and much more!

The online directory is a simple to use and each listing is linked to “Google Maps” which gives the user the ability to map their way to the specific listing’s location.
Common features of each listing are the business or listing’s name, the business owner or contact person, contact information, address, e-mail, telephone number, and comprehensive information about the business’ product or service and it’s all available in both official languages. Photos, graphics or brand logos are also included. Another great feature is that viewers can “like” “tweet” or “pin” the listing to their own social media to share with their friends and followers.
Coming in late July 2013, Superior North Spotlight will be available as an “app” for Apple products like the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Superior North Spotlight is truly innovative and it provides our regional businesses an advantage in smart phone marketing at no cost! Superior North CFDC is the first organization in the region to develop and offer such an innovative tool.
