SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN LONGLAC ROBBERY

LONGLAC, ON –  The Greenstone Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a robbery that took place in the Longlac on May 27, 2013.

At approximately 1:00am, the Provincial Communication Centre in Thunder Bay received a 911 call from a person advising that he had just been robbed.

Investigation revealed that one of the suspects had been at the residence earlier in the evening.  Two people broke into the home after suspects had gone to bed.  The victim was choked, his wallet was stolen and two suspects had fled the scene.

Earle TAYLOR, 26 years of age of Ginoogaming First Nation has been charged with Robbery, Break, Enter and Theft and Uttering Threats.  He was remanded into custody and his next court appearance is a bail hearing on May 30, 2013 in Thunder Bay.

A young person who can not be named as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act has alse been arrested and charged with Robbery and Break and Enter.
