MANITOUWADGE, ON – Following the success of the 2012 BizKid$ program it is no surprise when Township of Manitouwadge Economic Development Assistant Karen Robinson shared information with local schools regarding the 2013 program, registrations immediately began arriving. BizKid$ Camp introduces youth ages 9-12 to values, attitudes, qualities and skills needed to be successful in today’s economy. High energy games, activities and workshops challenge every participant to discover his/her entrepreneurial self.

Campers gain a basic overview of business and entrepreneurship through exciting, interactive games and presentations from entrepreneurs in our community. Campers will choose a business at the beginning of the week and work towards Market Day, which is held at the end of the week!

If the camper has a profitable business, he/she keeps all the money, entrepreneurs who participated in Market Day 2012 earned more than $1700 through the sale of their products.

The 2013 BizKid$ Camp will run from 10am – 4pm Monday, July 19th through Friday, July 23rd, registration is $50 and includes lunch (for all 5 days).
