Schreiber’s 2013 Graduates from Holy Angels School

SCHREIBER, ON – Congratulations to the Grade 8 graduating Class of 2013 from Holy Angels Catholic School. The students worked diligently throughout the year to end their elementary education on a positive note as they prepared for the next step.
There were many laughs, tears and fond memories shared at the graduation ceremony which followed a mass at Holy Angels Catholic Church. The ceremony and mass were attended not only by the graduates but also by their families and friends who have supported them throughout the elementary school years and of course by teachers and staff of HAS who will miss them dearly.
Many awards were presented at the ceremony, congratulations to the following students:

- Arts Award: Amber Gionet
- Perfect Attendance Award: Domenic Costa
- Athletic Proficiency Award: Brock Trichilo
- The CWL Catholic Values Award – Alex Halonen
- The CWL Award for Combined Effort and Ability – Alex Halonen
- The Knight’s of Columbus Award of Proficiency – Jonathan Mayry
- OECTA Award for Cooperation – Garret Armstrong
Teachers spoke of how they have watched the students grow from nervous kindergarteners during their first days at HAS to the confident young people they have become looking forward to yet another new beginning when they attended Lake Superior High School in September.
