Dr. Zawada at Health Recruitment Tour in Thunder Bay

TERRACE BAY, ON – The Township of Terrace Bay and Aguasabon Medical Clinic recently attended the health recruitment fair in Thunder Bay on behalf of a partnership also including the North Shore Family Health Team, JE Stokes Medical Centre, The McCausland Hospital and the Township of Schreiber. J.E. Stokes Medical Centre in Schreiber has a vacancy for a full-time family physician beginning in January 2014. The Aguasabon Medical Centre has a 9 month maternity leave beginning in January as well that they are looking for physicians to cover. Lead Physician for the Aguasabon Medical Centre Dr. Annabella Zawada says “Historically we have not had many vacancies at either clinic as the region offers an attractive lifestyle and the work is at a more relaxing pace then physicians may normally be used to.”
