Meeting Focuses on Delivery of Education in Espanola

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON –  The Ministry of Education is encouraging schools boards serving Espanola to address student accommodation needs.  The Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board (HSCDSB), Rainbow District School Board and the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario are collaborating to determine how best to deliver education in English and French in the community.

All three school boards are holding public information sessions for their respective school communities on Thursday, September 19, 2013.   Stakeholders, parents and guardians of students attending Sacred Heart Catholic School are invited to attend.  The meeting, hosted by the HSCDSB will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the school gymnasium.

“This meeting will allow our school community and all stakeholders in Catholic education in Espanola to obtain information regarding this issue.  We are committed to ensuring that our students are provided the best possible education experience,” said Director of Education, John Stadnyk.

The HSCDSB will continue to collaborate with its coterminous boards serving Espanola.
