Schreiber Public Library Annual Quilt Show: “A Walk In The Forest”

SCHREIBER, ON – October 6th Schreiber Public Library hosted its annual Quilt Show at the Schreiber Recreation Center. The event showcased quilts from local quilters, as well as a basket raffle. The 2013 quilt show theme was “A walk in the forest” which displayed over 150 different quilted projects.

The event had a total of 52 prizes to be won with gifts that ranged from free dinner at the Hungry Moose to a free night stay at the Serendipity Guest House. Winners from the day included Lisa Spadoni for the 50/50 ($255.00), Jen Richter won a fishing themed quilt and Jim Collins from Marathon won a Douglas Hunt Water Painting.
