Town of CHAPLEAU Victimized – Graffiti Mischief on Public and Private Properties

CHAPLEAU, ON – The Superior East Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Chapleau Detachment are currently investigating a series of mischiefs committed throughout the community overnight on October 4, 2013.  Suspects sprayed graffiti at numerous locations in the town of Chapleau.  The graffiti contained vulgar messages and indecent images in yellow, dark and light green spray paint.

The victimized locations included numerous residences and vehicles on the following streets; Pine St, Richard St and Beech St.  Other properties that were targeted include the Chapleau bridge, Chapleau Real Estate building, St. John’s Anglican Church, Chapleau Public School, pedestrian overpass and the sidewalk on Martel Road.
