GREENSTONE, ON – November 9, 2013 at 9:27pm members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Greenstone Detachment received a report of a male youth walking down Main Street in Geraldton carrying a knife and a shovel. It was reported that the male youth had robbed one person and chased two others with the weapons. No physical injuries were obtained by any of the involved parties.
Shortly after the report police located and arrested the accused. Police have charged the 14 year old male from Marten Falls, Ontario with:
- one count of Robbery,
- one count of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- two counts of Assault with a Weapon contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused is currently being held in custody until his next court appearance on November 12, 2013.
