Theft of Copper Wire
Crime Stoppers and the OPP are asking for your help in solving several incidents of Copper Wire Theft and Ground Wire Theft from TBayTel and CP Rail sights.
Sometime between October 1st and December 1st 2013 several incidents of theft of wire was reported East of Thunder Bay to Marathon along Hwy 17 at TBaytel and CP rail sights. The unknown suspects stole hundreds of feet of copper wire and ground wire along with cuplings. These kinds of thefts are very dangerous and not recommended by anyone. These suspects are trespassing on these properties and need to be stopped.
Anyone with information about who may be responsible for these crimes or the whereabouts of the wire is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or submit a web tip at www.TipSubmit.com.
