NIPIGON, ON – Saturday, April 26th, a full church watched as eight students received Communion for the first time.
The students were well-prepared for their roles in the Mass as they performed their readings and other jobs beautifully, adding to the importance of this event.
It takes a lot of preparation to put on an event like this, and so much thanks is given to Mrs. Courtney Currie for all her hard work in preparing the class; Father Joseph and Deacon Dave for their delivery of this Mass; Moriah Harvey for her beautiful singing; Richard
Harvey, Mike Lanteigne, for the wonderful music. A big thank you is also extended to the people who served as Eucharistic ministers and altar servers and the people who helped with the reception afterward.
It was a truly joyful event and one that the children will not forget.
