Thunder Bay – Superior North Electoral Candidates

vote-tbsnNORTHWESERN ONTARIO – Thunder Bay-Superior North, incumbent Liberal Michael Gravelle has served the riding, which includes communities along the Northshore through to Marathon on the East and those within the Municipality of Greenstone, since June of 1995 according to Ontario Legislative Assembly website records – nearly 19 years. During this time he has also held many portfolios including most recently Minister of Northern Development and Mines and previous to that Minister of Northern Development, Mines and Forests in addition to sitting as Chair of the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund and other titles which likely benefited constituents and communities in the riding significantly.

Gravelle’s long service has not deterred other parties from putting forth their candidates in the hopes of claiming the Northwestern Ontario riding in the provincial election however.
