December has arrived and the countdown to Christmas can officially begin! Santa is not the only one known to bring lots of “gifts” during the month, as the fine folks at the movie studios always deliver plenty of big blockbuster hits right in time for the holidays. This December is no exception, as several major movies are set to debut over the next few weeks including; Guardians of the Galaxy, Maze Runner, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dolphin Tale 2, The Equalizer and more! The big hits kick off right away with “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” headlining this week which features a total of eleven new releases! Here is a brief synopsis of each of this week’s new movies;

Angels Sing: starring Harry Connick Jr. – As a child Michael wished every day was Christmas- until a horrible accident crushed his holiday spirit.
