Sr. Boys basketball East winner will host Winter Finals.Chevaliers vying for east crown.

Senior Boys Basketball East winner will host Winter Finals. Chevaliers vying for east crown. West Semi-Finals location to be determined. Marathon High School or Terrace Bay’s Lake Superior High School (LSHS) will host playdowns.

There are still some crucial games to be played to determine who will be hosting and attending the Winter Championship. Manitouwadge Wolverines will host the LSHS Stingers on February 5th a week before the West-Division Crossover playoff on February 12th.

The Far West is led by Nipigon Red Rock District High School (NRDHS) in all categories – Geraldton Composite High School (GCHS) is 2nd.

The Manitouwadge High School Wolverines are 1st in Junior and Senior Girls Volleyball. The Marathon High School Falcons have a 5-1 record in Junior Boys with the Wolverines at 3-2 and the Lake Superior High School Stingers at 0-5. In Senior Boys the Wolverines are 4-0, Falcons 3-3, and the Stingers are 0-4.

In the East, École secondaire Saint-Joseph’s Chevaliers (Wawa) lead the way at 4-0 and have 4 games remaining in their schedule. The Michipicoten High School Vikings, Chapleau High School Raiders and Hornepayne High School Hawks all have 2 wins and are tied for second place.

In Junior Boys Basketball, the Hornepayne High School Hawks are a perfect 5-0 while the Orangutans from Dubreuilville are 4-3.

In Junior Girls Volleyball, the Coyotes are in first along with the Hornepayne High School Hawks at 4-0 and 12 points. The Sr. Girls are led by the MHS Vikings and the Hawks with 9 pts each.
