SSMcrimestoppersSault Ste. Marie and Algoma Crime Stoppers and the Anishinabek Police Service are looking for information to help solve a robbery.

Between 12:00 am and 1:00 am on March 1, 2015 in the 100 block of Sweetgrass Street on the Garden River First Nation two males broke into a residence while the victim was home.

The victim was assaulted, stabbed, tied up and dragged into a crawl space.

Suspect number one is described as male, dark skin, mid 20’s, 5’10” tall, medium build wearing a light grey hoodie, a black mask, a light grey jacket with thick red lines running through it and white ankle high running shoes.

Suspect number two is described as male, dark skin, mid 20’s, 5’7” tall, thin build wearing a grey hoodie, a black mask, blue jeans and older running shoes.

A unique military service medal was stolen along with two specialty cooking knives.
