WEEKLY WRAP-UP
We’ve placed our orders for May and it’s looking like it’s going to be a big month for new releases! Ever since it debuted in theatres, people have been asking repeatedly when “American Sniper” would be available to rent or buy. We can now confirm that date to be May 19th! Another noteworthy title making its way to Crossover in May is “Fifty Shades of Grey”, the controversial and steamy film based on the book(s) of the same name. Other titles to look forward to include; “Selma”, “Mordecai” and “Seventh Son”.
Refocusing to the here and now, there are seven new releases this week. Here’s a look at what you can expect to see in each;

A Most Violent Year: starring Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain – 1981, In New York City, a hard-working immigrant fights to protect his business and family during the most dangerous year in the city’s history. Son of a Gun: starring Ewan McGregor and Brenton Thwaites – In exchange for protection in prison, a young man agrees to help a seasoned criminal with his latest plot- to rob millions of dollars worth of gold from a local mine. Voices: starring Ryan Reynolds– A likeable guy pursues his office crush with the help of his talking pets, but things turn nasty when she stands him up for a date. (Dark Comedy) (DVD)
Bad Asses on the Bayou: starring Danny Trejo and Danny Glover – Frank and Bernie reunite and take a trip down to Louisiana in hopes of finding a long-time friend who’s been kidnapped. (Action) (DVD)
Rewrite: starring Hugh Grant and Marisa Tomei – While in the midst of a career slump, an Oscar-winning writer leaves Hollywood to teach screenwriting at a college on the East Coast, where he falls for a single mom. (Romance/Comedy) (DVD)
Russell Madness: A small terrier escapes from a pet store and finds a home with a loving family. There, with the help from a monkey, the dog becomes a sensation in the world of wrestling. (Family) (DVD)
FOR THE GAMERS
Dark Souls 2: A unique old-school action rpg experience which should captivate the imaginations of gamers worldwide with incredible challenge and intense emotional reward. With renowned difficulty and gripping gameplay innovations to both single and multiplayer experiences, along with twisted new monsters and deadly bosses, this game should not be overlooked. Available to rent or buy for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4.
