#CrossoverInsider: Biigtigong Nishnaabeg Entrepreneur’s Art Now Available & This Week’s New Release Trailers
Disney and Pixar, over the course of the past several years, have become notorious for producing quality animated movies that are popular with the whole family. They can take unfamiliar characters and make them loveable and relatable- like the old man from Up. This week, we are introduced to Miguel and his Mama Coco as he enters into the Land of the Dead in search of his music loving Grandfather. Also debuting this week is a remake of a 70’s classic murder mystery and a couple of Academy Award favorites. There are six new titles in total, with a brief synopsis of each below;
Coco: featuring the voice of Anthony Gonzalez and Gael Garcia Bernal- When his family decides to ban music, a young boy pays a visit to the land of the dead to seek inspiration from his music loving Grandfather. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri: starring Frances McDormand and Woody Harrelson- Nominated for Academy Awards! Frustrated by the lack of progress in the case of her murdered daughter, a mother challenges local authorities by erecting three billboards on the outskirts of town. Hangman: starring Al Pacino, Brittany Snow and Karl Urban- A homicide detective teams up with a retired cop and a newspaper reporter in attempt to catch a serial killer whose crimes are inspired by the word-game “Hangman”. Darkest Hour: starring Gary Oldman- Nominated for Academy Awards! During the early days of World War II, the fate of Western Europe depends on newly-appointed British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, who must decide whether to negotiate with Adolf Hitler, or fight on against incredible odds. Day of the Dead: Bloodline: starring Sophie Skelton- In a world overrun by zombies, a small group of military personnel and survivalists dwell in an underground bunker as they seek to find a cure. (Horror) (DVD).
