#Crossover Insider: New Movie Releases & Trailers
Most people over the age of 25 most likely remember quite clearly where they were on September 11th, 2001. This day, of course, is the dark day in American history when an attack was launched on American soil leaving nearly 3,000 people dead in New York City, Arlington County Virginia and Shanksville Pennsylvania. I remember sitting in High School art class when the news broke. Classes paused as students caught glimpses of the footage on TV’s set up around the schools. An attack of this magnitude was seemingly unprecedented at the time and, needless to say, drew swift retaliation from the US and its allies. Today’s headline new release tells the previously classified story of twelve brave American soldiers who became the first crew deployed to the scene after the attack. Starring Chris Hemsworth, “12 Strong” headlines a week that features a total of five new titles with a brief synopsis of each below;
12 Strong: starring Chris Hemsworth, Michael Shannon and Michael Pena- Under the leadership of a rookie captain, a group of 12 US soldiers team up with an Afghan warlord in a seemingly impossible battle to take down the Taliban in Afghanistan. Winchester: starring Helen Mirren- Inspired by TRUE EVENTS!
