Greenstone OPP Suspect Foul Play in Longlac Housefire; Seeking Public Assistance

GREENSTONE, ON – At approximately 11:50 pm, on Monday, July 2, 2018, members of the Greenstone Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P), along with Superior North Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Greenstone Fire Department, responded to a report of a house fire on Queen Street in Longlac, Ontario.

The occupants of the residence and their pets were able to escape the fire and were medically cleared by paramedics at the scene. The residence sustained significant damage, but the fire was ultimately brought under control and extinguished thanks to the efforts of the Greenstone Fire Department.

At this time police suspect foul play and are seeking information from members of the public to assist with this investigation.
