Crossover Video This Week : New Release Movies, Loretta McEvoy Wins, and MORE!
We’ve touched on it before, but no genres bring moviegoers to theatre seats quite like superhero movies. Over the past few years, we’ve started seeing ensemble superhero movies- where various caped crusaders share the screen. One of the first of the type was “The Avengers” which, in 2012, saw the likes of Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America and Thor coming together to save the Earth. In 2015, Avengers Age of Ultron reunited the crew for another fight for humanity. This week, the third installment in the increasingly popular franchise is our headline new release. There are a total of four new titles this week with a brief synopsis of each below;
Avengers Infinity War: starring Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth-The Avengers and their allies put everything on the line in a desperate fight to stop Thanos from destroying the universe. (Action/Adventure) (DVD and Blu-Ray) Also available to rent @ 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge!
Spinning Man: starring Pierce Brosnan and Guy Pearce- A married college professor, known for having affairs with his students, becomes the prime suspect after the disappearance of a young woman. (Mystery/Thriller) (DVD) Also available to rent @ 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge!
Death of Stalin: starring Olga Kurylenko, Steve Buscemi and Jeffrey Tambor- When Soviet leader Joseph Stalin dies unexpectedly, chaos ensues as the government tries to maintain order while searching for a new leader. (Comedy) (DVD)
Bad Samaritan: starring David Tennant- A pair of burglars stumble upon a woman being held captive in a home that they intended to rob. (Thriller) (DVD)
