Highway 17 Closed Due to Fatal Collision
WAWA, ON – On Sunday August 19, 2018 at approximately 10:19 pm members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East (Wawa) Detachment responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision located on Highway 17 approximately 15 kilometres south of Wawa in the Lendrum Township District of Algoma.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are assisting with this investigation.
Highway 17 remains closed in both directions.
