Crossover Video This Week – Easter Gifts & New Releases

Back in 2016, movie watchers were introduced to a character unlike any they had ever encountered before. Played masterfully play James McAvoy, Kevin Wendell Crumb was a man struggling to control his many split personalities after kidnapping three young ladies. Written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, “Split” was a unique thriller that threw fans for a loop when it was revealed at the end of the film that it was actually a semi-sequel to “Unbreakable” from 2000.  Earlier this year, Shyamalan released “Glass”- the final installment in the now three part series that brought all three of the main characters from Split and Unbreakable together for an epic finale. Glass is also the headline new release alongside three other titles. Below is a brief synopsis of each;

Glass: starring Samuel L Jackson, James McAvoy and Bruce Willis- After finally tracking down the man with multiple personalities, David Dunn finds himself locked in a mental hospital alongside nemesis Elijah Price, where a physiatrist is determined to prove that the three men do not possess superhuman powers. Kid Who Would Be King: starring Louis Ashbourne Serkis and Patrick Stewart- After finding the mythical sword in the stone, a boy must unite his friends in an epic adventure to defeat a wicked enchantress. (Adventure/Family) (DVD and Blu-Ray) Also available to rent @ 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge  

Replicas: starring Keanu Reeves and Alice Eve- After a tragic car accident kills his entire family, a scientist begins using multiple daring and controversial experiments in an attempt to recreate them.                   (Sci-Fi/Thriller) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Bouncer: starring Jean-Claude Van Damme- In an attempt to regain custody of his 8 year old daughter, a nightclub bouncer agrees to help Interpol in their search for a ruthless crime boss. (Action) (DVD) (Viewer Discretion is Advisded) Also available to rent @ 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge
