MANITOUWADGE, ON – Organizers, volunteers and participants enjoyed great weather September 18th for the Manitouwadge Family Health Team’s Chase the Rainbow Paint Run sponsored by the NWMO, Jim Moffat Enterprises and the Ontario Clean Water Agency.

The 5km challenge wrapped up with a fun BBQ at Lions Beach, included free for participants with their registration fee while the general public could purchase food items.

Though participation was down from last year, approximately 70 people registered this year compared to the inaugural run which saw an estimated 120 participants, there was certainly no less enthusiasm from those who came out to meet the challenge of the 5km route. Participants of all ages, including walkers, bikers and even a few on scooters, were full of smiles even through the clouds of colours at each of the 4 checkpoints.

Congratulations to all those who completed the impressive 5km route as well as to the organizers and volunteers for a great event!
