Superior North CFDC Open House Continues in Manitouwadge

MANITOUWADGE, ON – As part of Small Business Week the Superior North Community Futures Development Corporation’s (SNCFDC) is currently hosting a 2-day open house in the lobby of the Recreation Centre.

Lending Coordinator Christine Rajala and Business Development Officer Erinn Nesbitt are in attendance to answer questions and share information. about the SNCFDC’s services, advice and tools to help would-be entrepreneurs:

  • clarify their business concept  
  • explore the feasibility of their concept  
  • learn how to start-up your business
  • register their business name or your corporation
  • get an HST number
  • get provincial and federal forms
  • develop a business plan and an operational plan
  • develop a marketing plan
  •  prepare a loan application 
  • learn bookkeeping basics
  • get activity sector information
  •  learn how not-for-profit, co-ops and franchises work

The open house began today from 10am to 6pm in the lobby of the rec centre and continues tomorrow from 9am to 3pm.
