(UPDATED) PLEASE NOTE: Due to the cold weather, the Remembrance Day ceremony will begin directly at the Pentecostal Chapel this morning at 10:45am (not at the cenotaph as described below).

MANITOUWADGE, ON – Manitouwadge Legion Branch 242 invites residents of Manitouwadge to honour the courage, valour and sacrifice of the heroes who have served – and continue to serve – Canada during times of war and conflict by attending the Remembrance Day ceremony Monday, November 11, 2019.

The public is asked to gather at the cenotaph at 10:45 am* for the Act of Remembrance, led by Legion President Bill Warren who will also lay a wreath. Following dismissal at the cenotaph, attendees are asked to reconvene at Bethany Pentecostal Chapel where the ceremony will continue at 11:30am.

Light refreshments will be provided after the ceremony.

If you are unable to attend, you can still honour those who have, and are, serving in our military by observing a moment of silence at 11 a.m. tomorrow, November 11, wherever you are at that time.

*In case of rain/inclement weather the full ceremony would begin at the church at 10:45am.
