Way back in 1999, an adventurous seven year old girl was introduced to viewers around the world. Dora, along with her cast of many friends, would quickly go on to become one of the most watched and most popular kids programs on television. Fast forward all these years later and Dora finally has her own full-length non-animated movie. This time, she’s all grown up and has the task of saving her parents. There are four new titles this week with a brief synopsis of each below;
Dora and the Lost City of Gold: starring Isabel Merced, Eva Longoria and Eugenio Derbez- Dora leads a group of friends on an adventure to save her parents while trying to solve the mystery behind the lost city of gold. Peanut Butter Falcon: starring Shia LaBeouf, Dakota Johnson and Zack Gottsagen- A young man with Down Syndrome runs away from his care home to chase his dream of becoming a professional wrestler- leading to new friends and the journey of a lifetime. (Drama/Comedy) (DVD)
Farewell: starring Awkwafina- A young lady reluctantly returns home to China to visit her ailing Grandmother- who has no idea that she only has weeks to live. There, she rediscovers the magic of the country that she left as a child, as well as the wondrous spirit of her Grandmother. (Drama/Comedy) (DVD)
