Snowfall warning in effect for:

  • Nipigon – Rossport

A significant snowfall will continue today into this evening.

Snow, heavy at times, will continue with up to an additional 5 cm of snow early this evening. This is forecast to bring total snowfall accumulations up to 15 to 25 cm before the snow tapers to flurries this evening.

Northerly winds gusting up to 50 km/h are expected tonight and will also create areas of blowing snow giving reduced visibilities at times.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Snow, heavy at times, will continue this evening and into the overnight hours. Additional snowfall amounts of 5 cm are expected, bringing total snowfall accumulations near 15 cm. Snow will taper to scattered flurries overnight.

Northerly winds gusting up to 50 km/h are expected to develop tonight and will create areas of blowing snow giving reduced visibilities at times.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
