MANITOUWADGE, ON – Sunday, February 2nd, 2020 the Kiwissa Ski Club celebrated “Christmas at Kiwissa”. Skiers and snowboarders were encouraged to decorate themselves, their skis, their helmets or anything else they wanted to match the Christmas theme to receive a free pop and bag of chips and have their name entered into a draw for a gift basket.

Many of the Kiwissa Ski Centre visitors met the challenge wearing ‘ugly Christmas sweaters’, hanging Christmas tree balls from their hats, wrapping themselves with a garland in lieu of scarves (not a problem thanks to great weather on Sunday) and many other fun, creative, and Christmassy fashions. Meanwhile, club volunteers decorated the chalet complete with a small Christmas tree and other festive touches.

Congratulations to the local student (pictured above) who won the gift basket and to all those who participated in the fun!

Want to get in on the fun? Kiwissa Ski Club is hosting another theme day during Frosty Days; February 14, 2020 skiers and snowboarders are encouraged to wear their favourite jersey to receive a free pop & chip and once again be entered into a free draw!
