MANITOUWADGE, ON – Shaw Cable crews continued a second day of repair attempts in an effort to end unplanned internet outages affecting their Manitouwadge customers.

The Shaw website offers, as of publishing of this post, no estimates in regards to expected duration of the service disruptions, the work/repairs being done in Manitouwadge, nor whether customers should plan for the internet outage to continue tomorrow for example, whether technicians must interrupt internet services to continue their repair work tomorrow morning or afternoon (Wed., Feb.5).

when reached by phone this evening, a Shaw representative told OntarioNewsNorth.com that any pattern in the disruptions observed by customers the past two days, such as internet being mostly unavailable from late morning until approximately the end of the business day, might provide reasonable speculation for what to expect Wednesday as work continues, though the representative emphasized that had only the same information available on Shaw’s website (pictured above).

At least Environment Canada forecasts another mild day tomorrow for any technicians working outside.

Customers who have experienced extended disruptions should contact their internet service provider with any questions related to billing on days they were without service.
