Church built by Harriet Tubman Gets $100k Repair Grant (CBC Video)

Rochelle Bush, the resident historian of a church built by Harriet Tubman and other freedom seekers, says it’s important to preserve the church for history as it helped play a role in ending American slavery. Salem Chapel British Methodist Episcopal Church in St. Catharines, Ont., received a grant of $100,000 to help restore it.
