Official Fundraiser Start : River’s Rainy Run (update)

MANITOUWADGE, ON – The weather didn’t cooperate but that wasn’t about to slow River Wheadon down in her goal of running 75km during the month of May. River is off to a running start with 4km run, in the rain no less, on day one of the MillionReasons Challenge [CLICK HERE for original article at https://bit.ly/RiverRunning].

May 1st officially marked the start of River’s recording her kilometrage towards her final goal of 75km run. She wanted to start strong, appreciating the outpouring of support she has already received as she continues to welcome donations at https://www.millionreasons.run/fundraisers/riverwheadon/mrr . As of Day One, thanks to the support of friends, family and Manitouwadge residents, River has already passed the 1/2 way point of her fundraising goal of $1500 with $816 raised!
