MANITOUWADGE, ON – Wednesday, September 14, the Manitouwadge High School’s (MNHS) held a bottle drive, organized by parent Reene Warren, to support the various Wolverines teams and sports programs.

Sunny warm weather made it an ideal evening for the student-athletes (and their peers) who canvassed door-to-door as a vehicle (most driven by a parent) followed along to carry the bags and cases of empties collected. Bottle Return Operator Barry Reddick confirmed the school’s fundraiser to be the most successful he’d witnessed. Reene and the Wolverines thank everyone who volunteered and the community at large for their generosity (many people who did not have empties donated cash).

Funds raised totalled an impressive $2672.45!
