Chef Lloyd
So, as I am still not receiving adequate doses of my pain meds, Lloyd is our cook much more often than I would like. Thankfully, he’s still making the best of it by inventing recipes now and then to keep things fun.
Today at lunch, he checked out what ingredients he had for pizza and then gave it a twist. These were as delicious as they were imaginative apparently as he & his sister gobbled them up in no time.
He used soft tortilla shells, then all the regular pizza fixins to make a sort of pizza sandwich. He was in a hurry as we all wanted to get to the Canada Day celebrations and I had to go for another injection before then so he heated them in the microwave, I had suggested maybe trying the oven next time but he didn’t think it would be worth the trouble as they were great in the microwave.
