Impaired Driver Leaves Wawa on a Bus

(WAWA, ON.) – On April 13th at 3:30PM, Superior East OPP, Wawa stopped a car for speeding on Highway 17 just South of Wawa. The driver was given a roadside test and registered a Fail. He was then arrested and brought to the Wawa detachment for further breath tests.

Subsequently 52 year old Dale LYONS of Fredericton N.B. was charged with the following charges: Over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada, Alcohol readily Available in a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Liquor Licence Act and Speeding contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.

Mr. LYONS driver’s licence was seized, he is suspended from driving for 90 days and his car towed to the impound. It was then he decided to finish his trip West riding the bus.
