Happy Mother’s Day to all the ladies’ out there who do all those special things that Mom’s do!

To my Mother:

Maman, tu es une femme incroyable, a wonderful Grandmaman, a matriarch, a friend, and so much more.  Mom, if someday I become ½ the woman you are I would be very proud. I love you and hope you have a special day with at least a few moments to relax.

To my Kids:

             I am so incredibly blessed to be your Mom, my life started the day you came into my life. I would dream of know other life and thank God every day for the chance to be your Mom so on those days when I’m not ‘Mom of the Year’, when I work too much and play too little, just know that I’m doing it all for you and trying every day to be a better mother to you and someone you can be proud to call your Mom!

Take a minute to call your Mom today and let her know just how special she is and how much you appreciate all the things she’s done for you.

Manitouwadge’s Councillor Donna Jaunzarins has a great message on Facebook this morning that really says it perfectly:

“A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie.”

And if you know a Man who has taken the responsibility to be a full time parent, trying to somehow be Dad & Mom (which all the single Mom’s out there know is no small feat!) take the time to let him know how special he is and help his kids wish him ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ too!
